Three summer airs

i

I walked out

on a late August morning

no thought in my head

save the pain in my knees

I beheld a Range Rover

A black Range Rover

Overtaking at speed

On a semi blind bend

And I sang joy to the world

For the Black Range Rovers

For they teach us that arseholes

Are a sustainable resource

ii

and as I walked out

On a late August morning

no thought in my head

save the pain in my knees

I saw a young woman

In a Black Range Rover

Overtaking at speed

On a semi blind bend

And I sang joy to the world

For women in Black Range Rovers

For they teach us that arseholeism

Is equal opportunity

iii

O yes I walked out

On a late August morning

And my heart sang with joy

For arseholes in cars

Their rage and impatience

Their indifference to others

Their childlike neediness

Is a gift to us all

For life is something

To cherish and work at

And Black Range Rovers

Prove we've far to go yet

So joy to the world

For striving is Life

And life is beautiful

So thank-you to them
